Maxime Laporte from Quorum Group, a dream partner for the Paradox Group organization

November 30, 2022

At its annual benefit evening on November 30, Groupe Paradoxe wanted to highlight Maxime Laporte's sustained involvement in the fight against social exclusion over the past few years. The Vice President of Real Estate Development at Groupe Quorum was surprised to receive his award on the stage of the Théâtre Paradoxe in Ville Émard, and was pleased to accept the title of Dream Partner for the 25th anniversary of the community organization.

Groupe Paradoxe is a social economy organization that promotes the social and professional integration of young people between the ages of 18 and 35 in the event and entertainment industry. Since the creation of the organization, 700 young people in situations of homelessness, social exclusion and school dropout have had the opportunity to take their lives in hand by learning the technician trade.

For Quorum Group Inc. this involvement has a very special meaning, as it allows us to support Groupe Paradoxe, which has a significant impact on the living conditions of many young people in southwest Montreal.

Since 2013, the organization has invested more than $3 million to transform the former Notre-Dame du Perpétuel Secours Church into a theater and renovate the adjoining presbytery, which now houses a dozen social housing units.
