During its annual benefit gala on November 30, Groupe Paradoxe highlighted Maxime Laporte’s sustained involvement in the fight against social exclusion over the past few years. The Vice President of Real Estate Development at Groupe Quorum was surprised to receive his award on stage at the Th\u00e9\u00e2tre Paradoxe in Ville \u00c9mard, and it was with great joy that he accepted the title of Dream Partner as part of the community organization’s 25th anniversary. <\/p>\n
Groupe Paradoxe is a social economy organization that promotes the social and professional integration of young people aged 18 to 35 in the events and performing arts industry. Since the organization’s creation, 700 young people experiencing homelessness, social exclusion, or dropping out of school have had the opportunity to get their lives back on track by learning the technician trade. <\/p>\n

For Groupe Quorum Inc., this involvement holds a very special meaning, as it allows us to support Groupe Paradoxe, which has a significant impact on the living conditions of many young people in Montreal’s Southwest.<\/p>\n
As a reminder, since 2013, the organization has invested more than $3 million to transform the former Notre-Dame du Perp\u00e9tuel Secours church into a theater and renovate the adjacent rectory, which now houses a dozen social housing units.<\/p>\n
