Purchasing Process

Throughout the purchasing process , Quorum wants to make sure that none of your questions are left unanswered.  Therefore, we make the following information available to you to assist you in every step of the buying process as well as finding the right home for you.

Step  1 – The visit
Our knowledgable sales representatives are pleased to present the different models available based on your criteria and requirements.
Step 2 – Select your condo and reserve it
Once you have selected the unit that you prefer, it can easily be reserved it with a minimum deposit and a 5 business day option.
Step 3 – Signing the offer to purchase
An appointment is made with one of our representatives to sign a preliminary contract.  The preliminary contract includes the delivery date for your unit as well as the required deposits to complete your purchase.  Moreover, we will give you a copy of the preliminary co-ownership declaration so that you may read the rules and restrictions related to your new condo.
Step 4 – Mortgage application (if needed)
Our representative will refer you to our preferred lender with whom we have negotiated preferential lending rates and conditions. You will obtain your mortgage approval from them.
Step 5 – Choosing the materials and colors
A first consultation from our finishing catalog must be made at the model unit to introduce you to our various choices of finishings.  You can, following the meeting, reflect on the different options available to not only suit your needs but also to truly make the condo your own. We will contact you to make an appointment to assist in the personalization of your condo and to officially select your choices of finishings.
Step 6 – Reminder
Three weeks prior to the delivery of your unit, you will receive a document outlining the procedure to facilitate the delivery process.
Step 7 – Unit inspection at the end of the construction work
Prior to the delivery of your unit, you will proceed to the final inspection with our housing consultant.  You will then receive all the necessary information to operate the equipment and maintain your unit and, if needed, you will inform our housing consultant of any and all modifications to be made to the unit. You will also sign the walkthrough certificate.
Step 8 – Deed of sale
The notarized deed of sale can now be signed.  The notary will proceed to the necessary adjustments required for municipal and school taxes, condo fees, etc. The notary will then provide you with a copy of the co-ownership declaration, your certificate of location as well the deed of sale and the keys to your unit.
Step 9 – After sales service
Your complete satisfaction is important to us. Our after sales service department is available to assist you with any issues concerning your new home.
